Convoy of Kashmala Tariq Killed Four in Islamabad
The ombudsperson’s speeding convoy jumped a red signal and rammed into two cars and a motorcycle
Four people were killed in a deadly accident involving the convoy vehicles of Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplaces Kashmala Tariq.
As per the reports, the ombudsperson’s speeding convoy jumped a red signal and rammed into two cars and a motorcycle on Srinagar Highway in Islamabad.
However, Kashmala Tariq was not present in the convoy when the accident happened.
Owing to the breach of rules by the convoy of Kashmala Tariq, four people were killed while two others were injured.
A video circulated on social media recorded right after the accident showed the car and motorcycles hit by the convoy vehicles were completely destroyed.
A dead body could be seen lying in front of the vehicle that was hit.
The video-maker points out to Kashmala’s son, “You have killed two people” to which her son replies, “Am I driving the car?”.
The people, invisible in the video frame, start shouting calls to grasp the suspects after which they could be seen running away.

Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) confirmed that the Sector G-11 signal was jumped after which the accident occurred.
The police officials said that Kashmala Tariq’s husband and son were seated in one of the cars in the convoy.
A case against the driver has been registered however none of the suspects has been arrested so far.
The police have impounded two cars and a motorcycle belonging to the deceased and the injured.
The deceased have been identified as Anees, Haider, Faisal, and Farooq.
