Good News for Cricket Fans. Zimbabwe Team Reaches Pakistan
Visitors Will Observe Week-Long Isolation

SPORTS DESK: Pakistan is all set to host the Zimbabwe cricket team as part of the resumption of international cricket after the coronavirus outbreak. The Chevrons have arrived in Islamabad today.
The visitors will play three each One Day Internationals (ODIs) and T20s in Pakistan. Pakistan will host 3 each ODIs and T20s at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Zimbabwe players will initially spend a week in isolation activities from October 21 to 27 before the commencement of the cricketing to mitigate the risk of coronavirus contraction.
The visitors will kick off their tour with a two-day practice match starting from Oct 28 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The Zimbabwean team has come along with a 20-player squad besides staff.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has also announced its squad for the tour to be played on its soil. Both ODI and T20 teams would be led by Babar Azam.
Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) Chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani and Managing Director Givemore Makoni had already arrived in Pakistan on Monday.
It is mentionable that Pakistan will become the second country after England to host an international series of men’s cricket after a pause of international cricket due to the coronavirus pandemic.
