The interview that took the media by storm has also left Buckingham Palace startled and the royals are ‘concerned’ and ‘serious’ over the statements made by Duke and Duchess of Sussex in their interview with Oprah Winfrey. With the recent betide, speculations are running rife that interview of Meghan could be a sequel of the controversy brought about by Netflix’s series ‘The Crown’.
During the interview, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan made revelations about their relationships with other royals and how they spent few years being royal members that spurred a controversy in Britain.

“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately”.
On the other hand, Meghan’s father and half-sister unsurprisingly weren’t happy with stories the Duchess revealed during the interview.

“She’s pretty much ghosted all of her family, on her mother’s side and my side. So she really had no one to reach out to. She would’ve had us if she’d kept us”, Meghan’s father stated.
The two-hour special episode that garnered around 17 million views the night it aired, seems like a controversy that has connections with the series of Netflix revolving around the British royals.
The latest season of The Crown depicts life story of Lady Di, Princess of Wales, and wife of Prince Charles including the turbulent relationship between the couple.
The regal epic caused a stir in Buckingham Palace and the British Culture Secretary pushed the producers to issue a disclaimer at the beginning of the show.
“We have always presented The Crown as a drama and we have every confidence our members understand it’s a work of fiction that’s broadly based on historical events”, Netflix said.
“As a result we have no plans, and see no need, to add a disclaimer”.
The series that started in 2016 initially focused on Queen Elizabeth and life in Britain, however, the latest season seems controversial with a number of scenes and depictions causing a stir in the British Palace.
After recent developments., the interview of Harry and Meghan in which the name of Lady Diana popped up several times seems in connection with already-running controversy against the royals and the palace.
