The music concert was swarmed by youngsters who came there to witness live performances by Amanat Ali, Bilal Saeed and Abrar-ul-Haq, who is not just a singer but a leader of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC).
Whereas, the attendees remained insensitive towards standard operating procedures (SOPs) and no social distancing was observed during the show.
As per NCOC’s directives, mask-wearing has been made mandatory in the cities of Punjab province but it wasn’t taken into account.

This is very disappointing to be having live concerts with so many people while we are still not free of COVID. Cases are on the rise again and we are experiencing a deadly 3rd wave. Let’s please act responsibly.🙏 Remember.. Jaan hai to jahaan hai ! https://t.co/3OQFBaoBdt

The event couldn’t take place as planned due to permission issues from administration as NCOC has issued directives for parks’ closure at 6 pm besides ban on mass gathering though the show was claimed to be ‘Pakistan’s first concert with social distancing’.
