Celebs Club For ‘Shab-e-Barat Prayers’ on Social Media

Several Pakistani celebrities conveyed prayers to their followers on social media as they observed Shab-e-Barat, believed to be the ‘night of forgiveness’. The Islamic calendar marks the day observed on the night between 14th and 15th of Sha’aban.

Every year, Shab-e-Barat is observed as a night for prayers and forgiveness, and the event serves as a reminder to welcome Ramazan (the month of fasting).

On this religious occasion, Muslims visit mosques lit incense sticks, and visit graves of their deceased loved ones.

Among celebrities, Pakistani former television and film actress Aisha Uqbah Malik posted a video of her daughter dolled up in a red dupatta offering prayers on the big night.
