Pakistanis Propose Iffat Omar to ‘Search it all’ About Covid-19 Vaccine
The video was circulated on social media by one of Cheema’s relatives which showed health workers administering vaccines to minister's family
Pakistani web-TV talk show Say It All host Iffat Omar has once again become a center of controversy after a video in which the actress got vaccinated errantly but instead of admitting it, she denied quoting a wrong fact about covid-19 vaccine to dispel the impression built around.
Earlier, a video spread widely on social media where the family members of Federal Housing Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema from Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q), which is an ally of the ruling PTI, were getting vaccinated against coronavirus at home.
The video was shared on Instagram by one of Cheema’s relatives which showed health workers administering vaccines.
However, the account from which the clip was shared later disappeared from Instagram.

Interestingly, former Pakistani model Iffat Omar was also spotted in the video.
Soon after the video stormed on social media, netizens and several journalists criticized Iffat Omar and the minister for utilizing political power in getting the covid-19 vaccine for his relatives.
The media worker quoted that currently, the government is in the phase of giving jabs to health workers and those aged over 60.
This lady is neither a front line health worker nor above 60 years of age. She is a leading actress @OmarIffat who criticises the govt which is fine but talks about ethics too. In this pic she is being vaccinated for covid how thats a?..Where are her ethics and principles now? pic.twitter.com/036NYI4VcB

Sawal Yeh Hai host Maria Memon also questioned the provision of vaccine jabs to the minister’s family.
First you jump the vaccination queue using your political connections, then brag about it on social media. I know legit people with low immunity diseases who desperately want to get jabbed but cannot!

Moreover, one of the Twitter users posted photos of Iffat Omar where she clarified that she was getting a booster shot of the Cansino (trial) vaccine that has been arranged by the University of Health Sciences (UHS).
She questioned the credibility of the vaccine recipient who was herself aware of the fact that CanSino trial was long over.
Journalist Mahwash Ajaz jumped into the conversation and seconded that trials for CanSino vaccines were over.
She further said, “So what vaccine friend and the family package was given to the Cheemas & their pals at their home?”

After clarification given by Iffat Omar, Dr. Shoaib Taimur questioned her regarding the basic research about covid-19 vaccine trials that had been long over in Pakistan.
If you have to lie, at least do some basic research. There is only one dose of the vaccine and the trials are long over. Even if they were happening, no one gets vaccinated at home. https://t.co/D9EZ6hzHzd
