Fawad Chaudhry Announced Sighting Ramazan Moon
First meeting of the moon sighting committee under new chairman Moulana Abdul Khabir Azad is due on April 13
Federal Science Minister Fawad Chaudhry has sighted the moon of Ramzan even before the meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on April 13.
The minister took to his Twitter account to announce that the moon will be sighted clearly on April 13 in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, and Karachi. First Ramazan will be on April 14.
Notably, the first meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee (moon sighting committee) under new chairman Moulana Abdul Khabir Azad is still due.

However, the minister stepped up and made an important announcement about the moon that had been a bone of contention between him and ex- Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
