Para-Taekwondo Player Fell Victim to Brutality
Obaidullah was taken to Jinnah Hospital due to serious injuries on the head and body
In a tragic incident that took place in Karachi, a para-taekwondo player fell victim to brutality and succumbed to injuries at Jinnah Hospital this week .
Obaidullah, 23, was a Karate champion who was abducted by unidentified suspects on March 4 and his brother lodged a preliminary report of disappearance at Mominabad police station next day.

After several search operations, Obaidullah was recovered in an injured condition by the police in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.
The para-taekwondo player was taken to Jinnah Hospital due to serious injuries on the head and body.
He received treatment for several days and was discharged as doctors were satisfied with his condition.
According to the victim’s father, Obaidullah returned home with good health but nearly after four hours, his condition deteriorated and the victim of inhumane torture passed away few hours after returning home.
When Obaildullah went missing and the family shared his photos on social media, some of the users claimed that one of victim’s kidneys was removed. However, his father denied the allegations and maintained that his organs were not removed and were intact.

“He had severe head injuries when the police found him”, he told.
Obaidullah’s father is in hopes that the government and police would serve him justice.
