The eligibility criteria for getting the vaccine shot include people aged over 45. The actor added that workers could also bring their spouses if they fell under the same age bracket.
Last year in March, when the lockdown was imposed in India, many people from the film industry faced financial woes, especially hundreds of daily wage workers who found it difficult to make ends meet.
Timely responding to the current crisis in India, CCC co-founder decided to vaccinate cinema workers and journalists, who are at a higher risk of getting affected by the virus.
