Silver Lining in Dismal CSS Exam 2020 Results
Among top three positions, two were secured by female candidates including Maheen Hassan on top and Tazeen Zafar on third
In disappointing results of Central Superior Service (CSS) exam 2020 where only nearly 2% of candidates managed to clear, there is a silver lining as nearly 40% passing aspirants were females.
Some 18,533 candidates appeared in the country’s apex competitive examination. However, only 376 people cleared the written exam among whom 226 were males and 138 were females.

After interviews, some 221 candidates, 142 males, and 79 females were shortlisted by Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC).

The second position in the recruitment list was occupied by Yasir Nazir.
Further, Shazia Ishaq from Chitral has also passed the competitive exam and she has been placed in Police Service Pakistan (PSP).

Another silver lining in the dismal CSS exam 2020 results is the appointment of Dr Sana Ramchand as the first female Hindu Assistant Commissioner (AC).
