Intl Media Outlets Losing Cool on Israel-Palestine Conflict
A Pakistani journalist lost his job from CNN for expressing outrage over Israeli atrocities against Palestinians on social media
In an ongoing world’s most intractable Israel and Palestine conflict, international media outlets are becoming intolerant and firing workers for exercising freedom of expression.
A number of incidents become an ordeal for journalists especially when they are restricted from publicly speaking their opinion about it.
In regards to it, a Pakistani journalist named Adeel Raja, who was associated with CNN since 2013, lost his job for expressing outrage over Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.

Taking to his Twitter handle, the CNN freelance contributor wrote against the Israel-Palestine conflict and said, “The world today needs a Hitler’.
Quickly, the tweet took the internet by storm and although Adeel Raja immediately deleted it, the poor journalist was under fire as the matter was taken up by CNN officials.
In response to Adeel’s anti-semitic tweet, CNN fired him and the news went viral on social media for speaking against Israel and Palestine conflict.

Commenting on the matter, Adeel justified that his comment was related to the Palestinian cause.
He also criticized that international media platforms like CNN, known for valuing freedom of expression and human rights, have done the opposite of what they preach.

However, Twitter has not taken any action against Adeel’s account so far.
