India Major Magazines’ Covers Finally Censure Modi
PM Modi has been accused of picking politics over the obvious health crisis that has taken over the country
‘Missing Government of India’ and ‘Bungling Big Time’, two major Indian magazines Outlook and Frontline rebuked the Modi government for its performance during the covid-19 crisis.
Indian media doesn’t have a habit of criticizing the government but in the dark hours when the country is battling the ragging virus and people are witnessing amateurish strategies by the government, the magazines finally picked humiliating covers for their current editions.
The Outlook India magazine plumped for a cover resembling a ‘Missing Poster’ with a blank white background.

Meanwhile, the online edition of the magazine does not have the missing poster.
On the other hand, the Frontline June issue has Narendra Modi with ‘Bungling Big Time’ on its cover.
The Indian fortnightly magazine criticized not only the government but specifically Prime Minister Modi for his dim-witted policies.
“The second wave of covid-19, which has devasted millions of lives and livelihoods across the country, has exposed not only the long-term weakness of the public health system but also the hollowness of prime minister Narendra Modi’s image as a strong and decisive leader”, the cover read.
