Call it magic, a technical glitch or a scam, a fuel station in Islamabad on Srinagar Highway filled a car’s tank more than its capacity.

An Islamabad-based digital journalist Shahid Abbasi took to his Twitter handle to share a video of a man who was shocked after he received the receipt from the fuel station of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) in the federal capital.

The car’s owner said that the fuel capacity of his vehicle was 42 liters but the receipt showed that it was tanked up with 55 liters of petrol.

The petrol pump staff couldn’t give a satisfactory answer to the alleged fraud when the owner confronted them.

The digital journalist claimed that the fuel station is owned by a famous political figure of Islamabad and it wasn’t the first such instance there.

However, the related institutions have completely ignored the issue for years.

Although Islamabad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hamza Shafqaat claimed that the complaint was fake on the basis of a report provided by the related PSO station, the locals of the federal capital refuted it.
