Islamabad Locals Unsettled After Heinous Crimes in the Ascendant
The locals of federal capital criticized the Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed for snubbing his original duties and doing electioneering for ruling PTI
The locals of Islamabad are anxious about the unprecedented rise in heinous crimes in Islamabad over the past few months.
The latest case is the murder and beheading of Noor Muqaddam by businessman Zahir Jaffer in Sector F-7.
The prime suspect has been arrested by the police while his parents including Zakir Jaffer and Ismat Adamjee as well as domestic workers, Iftikhar and Jamil, are also in police custody for abetting the crime and hiding facts.
It has also been learned that Zahir Jaffer was deported from the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016 on charges of assaulting a woman.

This month, a hoodlum Usman Mirza and his accomplices were booked by the police as they assaulted and conducted acts of voyeurism with a young couple staying at a guest house in the federal capital.
All suspects are currently in detention and the first information report (FIR) against them includes charges that lead to the death penalty.
Yesterday, the house of Aiteraz Hai host Muhammad Adil Abbasi got robbed in Islamabad.
He took to his Twitter account and told the suspects broke into his house and theft important documents, mobile phones, cash, and jewelry.

The locals expressed anxiety on exacerbated law and order situation in Islamabad and rising incidents of violence.
They criticized the Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed for remaining busy in electioneering for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections but snubbing original duties.
