Interestingly, the safe passage request was fulfilled at a time when Afghan officials aren’t in a friendly domain with Pakistan and making statements against it.
Reaffirming its commitment to promote Afghan Peace Process, Pakistan has promised to return these soldiers to the Afghan government in a dignified manner after due process.
