PTI Three-Year Event Draws Flak For Concentrating Personal Efforts

The event to apprise the nation about the three-year performance of the government drew flak for being too concentrated on the personal achievements of Imran Khan rather than those of the PTI-led government.

The people as well as journalists, who do not usually criticize the PTI-led government, pointed out the flaws of the event and labeled it a program highlighting the party chairman Imran Khan rather than the three-year performance of the government.

Prominent journalists including Gharidah Farooqi, Moeed Pirzada, and others reached out to their Twitter handles and indicated the same.

Gharidah Farooqi, who was at the event, pointed out maladministration saying many PTI workers and journalists faced problems in entering the hall.

She also pointed fingers at the quality of videos showing the performance of the government.

Gharidah Farooqi noted that around 80% of the time was dedicated to songs while the remaining 20% was utilized to review the government’s performance.

They said that both officials possess reputable posts but they were made to sing as if they were singers.

Hard Talk Pakistan host Moeed Pirzada commented that PTI forgot to distinguish that the program was about the three-year performance of the government, not the birthday of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
