Ronaldo & Messi Dishearten Fans With New Debuts

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in less than 13 minutes on his second Champions League debut but Swiss side Young Boys claimed a win over 10-man Manchester United on Tuesday

With the new season’s huge shuffles, the debuts of footballers Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for their respective clubs couldn’t unluckily lead their teams to win.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in less than 13 minutes on his second Champions League debut but Swiss side Young Boys claimed a win over Manchester United on Tuesday.

The strike by the Portuguese player was his third in 2 games that comes 12 years and 132 days after his last goal for Manchester in the Champion’s league.

Meanwhile, Messi’s start for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Wednesday remained a disappointment for his fans as the player was mute and the club faced a draw.

Lionel Messi bid farewell to his 21-year-old relationship with the Spanish football club Barcelona last month.

Argentina’s star footballer, Messi, had played in 778 matches for Barcelona in which he scored 672 goals. He led Barcelona to four Champions League victories too.

The sports enthusiasts are surely not happy with the debuts of Messi and Ronaldo and took to Twitter to express their feelings.
