Visually Impaired Saima Shows Mirror to India at UNGA

The female diplomat used right of reply during the session and caught eye balls of the nation

In a rare occurrence at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), a visually impaired Pakistani female diplomat Saima Saleem exercised the right of reply during the 76th session.

Saima is a pass out of Kinnaird College for Women University where she completed her bachelor’s and MPhil.

She passed her Central Superior Services (CSS) exam in 2017.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry appreciated the exceptional lady in his post on Twitter.

“Saima Saleem exercising the right of reply in UNGA, Saima is visually impaired but way she spoke seems her heart can see everything, you have made us proud”, he penned down cherishing words for the visually impaired civil servant.

The tweet went noticed by numerous Pakistani social media users who popped up to appreciate Saima Saleem.
