Pakistani cricket and showbiz stars penned down posts for the father of the nation's atomic bomb

The demise of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan came as a shock for the Pakistani nation including the celebrities who kept social media brimming with their condolence messages for the father of the nation’s atomic bomb.

Actors and actresses from the showbiz industry expressed their immense grief over the loss.

Actress Sana Javed penned down, “Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan who helped Pakistan become a nuclear state, who gave his life to the cause, who was amongst the most respected Pakistanis, passed away”.

Actor Ijaz Aslam was of the view that Dr Qadeer Khan deserves to be laid to rest like a real hero.

Not only this, actress and model Nadia Hussain also took to her Twitter and said that because of Dr Qadeer Khan, we can proudly claim to be a nuclear nation.

“Thank you for your immense knowledge and experience and courage”.

Actor Adnan Siddiqui wrote that we are a nuclear power today because of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.

“Forever indebted. Khuda Hafiz, Mohsin-e-Pakistan. May Allah grant you a higher place in Jannah tul Firdous”, he added.

Apart from showbiz Pakistan, cricket stars also paid their tribute to the national hero.

Hassan Ali, Wahab Riza, Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez penned down their condolences.
