Corona vaccine to be available at home in Punjab

The Punjab government has announced door-to-door corona vaccine campaign, which will run from October 25 to November 12. According to the notification issued for launching the door-to-door vaccination campaign, a focal person has been appointed to make the campaign a success

The vaccination campaign will be completed in 36 districts across Punjab, according to the notification

It may be recalled that Dr. Javed Akram, a member of the Scientific Task Force, had said yesterday that a California variant of Corona virus has also entered Pakistan. According to government data, 40 people have been affected by the new variant.

According to the NCOC, 567 new cases of corona virus were reported across the country yesterday while 16 people died due to the virus.

The provincial government of Punjab has taken a timely decision and reiterated that the citizens should be vaccinated against corona vaccine.

It remains to be seen whether the governments of the other provinces will launch door-to-door vaccination campaigns to protect their citizens
