Despite losing semi-final, Pakistan earned respect in cricket world
Now foreign teams are willing to visit the country.
Australia beat Pakistan by 5 wickets in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup yesterday. But, despite losing the game, the greenshirts are standing at a better position than two months back, when their performance was down and first New Zealand cancelled their tour and later England refused to visit.
Even, the PML-Vice President Maryam Nawaz taking a jibe at Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted: “I will get respect for green passport.”
Also, many Pakistan Cricket Board’s senior officials including CEO left the board at that time.
Then, Ramiz Raja assumed the charge of PCB chairman and put fighting spirit in the team.
