Pakistan team arrives in Bangladesh for Test, T20 series

Iftikhar Ahmed replaces Muhammad Hafeez for Twenty20 series.

Pakistan cricket team has reached Bangladesh to play the Test and T20 series.

According to the details, Iftikhar Ahmed, who joined the squad to replace leading batsman Muhammad Hafeez, in Dubai also reached Dhaka with the team.

Muhammad Hafeez and batting consultant Matthew Hayden are not in the squad while captain Babar Azam and senior all rounder Shoaib Malik will join the team in Bangladesh on November 16.

It should be noted that the Pakistani team will play a series of three T20 matches in Bangladesh. First T20 will be played on November 19, while the second and third will be played on November 20 and November 22, respectively.

According to the schedule, a series of two Test matches will also be played between the two teams, for which the national test squad will go from Lahore to Bangladesh on November 22.

It should be noted that Pakistan were remained unbeaten in the Super 12 matches in the ICC T20 World Cup in Oman and the UAE.

Pakistan had defeated traditional rival India by 10 wickets in its first match. In the second match, Greenshirts had defeated New Zealand’s strong team by 8 wickets, demonstrating the best game.

In their third T20 match, Pakistan had won by 45 runs against Afghanistan. Later, in the fourth game, Pakistan defeated Namibia by 45 runs. In the final Super 12 game, the Greenshirts beat Scotland by 72 runs.
