Fire erupts at Saddar’s Victoria Market

Fire has erupted at Victoria Market located in Karachi’s major business area Saddar.
Fire tenders are busy in extinguishing the fire.
The 5th floor of the market adjacent to Zainab Market has caught the fire. Fire brigade officials have dispatched four fire tenders to extinguish the fire.
Police and Rangers have reached the site and cordoned off the area.

On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the incident of fire in the Victoria Market. The chief minister has sought a report on the fire incident. He directed the local administration that there should be no loss of life.
The Additional IG Karachi has directed the SSP South to immediately reach the spot and review the rescue operations.
The traffic police are providing alternative routes for the convenience of the public so that the traffic flow is not affected around the Victoria Market.
