Legislation will be made in a clear and transparent manner for the protection of the people.

According to him, it will be ensured that the strictest law will be applied to the perpetrators of rape.

It should be noted that there are still a few steps left for this cabinet decision to become law.

It will need the approval of the National Assembly and the Senate after the approval of the committees.

In addition, Council of Islamic Ideology  will also make its recommendations, which is currently inactive due to completion of tenure of most of its members.

However, after the incidents of rape and murder of Pakistani children, there was increasing pressure on the government to severally punish perpetrators of rape.

There were also demands for public execution, stoning and castration.
