Dilip Kumar Seems Happy and Healthy At 98

The 'Ganga Jamuna' actor's latest picture is a breeze of fresh air in Bollywood, which has lost comparatively young celebrities in 2020

WEB DESK: Dilip Kumar is one of the most loved actors of Bollywood. Recently shared a picture along with his wife Saira Banu on social media.

The duo looked happy and healthy, grinning in white outfits.

The Ganga Jamuna actor turned 98 this year living his life to the fullest.

A few months back, Kumar suffered from a serious illness and was shifted to the hospital.

Later, the actor’s wife Saira Bano tweeted that Dilip is feeling a lot better and came back home healthy after consultation with the medical team.

Despite his age, Kumar is leading a healthy life with minor health issues.

The couple has kept their fans abreast through social media in recent years mostly run by Saira Banu.

Who Dilip Kumar is?

Dilip Kumar (Yousuf Khan) was born in Peshawar Pakistan, but his family relocated to Mumbai in the 1930s.

Dilip started his acting career in the 1940s giving many hits to the Bollywood industry including ‘Mela’, ‘Andaz’, ‘Daag’, ‘Insaniyat’, ‘Ganga Jamuna’, ‘Devdas’ and the list goes on.

With his low-key, naturalistic acting style, he excelled in a wide range of roles. In addition to his acting, he was noted for his good looks, deep voice, and fine accent.

Kumar married the actress Saira Banu in 1966, who is almost 22 years younger than him.

Dilip remained the highest paid Hindi actor in the era of the 50s and 60s.

He bagged many awards including Filmfare Award for lifetime achievement, Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Nishan-e-Imtiaz by Pakistan, IIFA Award, and many Filmfare Awards for best actor.

Deaths in Bollywood in Year 2020
