Under Sindh High Court directions, all distribution of tents, food etc being done through citizens committees chaired by civil judge. So, matter should be reported to the SHC for appropriate investigation.”

He said, “Bigger issue is inability of administration to identify flood-affected people who have been displaced/rendered homeless & provide them whatever is available. I noted large cargoes moving/lying in DC house for several days rather than its distribution to people in desperate need.”
Shah added, “Our society is full of corruption/scams- ppl will scandalise distribution. As they say “Do what you feel in your heart to be right- for you’ll be criticised anyway. You’ll be damned if you do, & damned if you don’t.”Main issue in this disaster: indecisiveness/slow response.”

Earlier, Shah highlighted, “Below stats shows the magnitude of damage in #Sindh -586k houses destroyed out of total 682k in the entire country or 86% destruction in #SindhRains. Actual destruction is much higher. The response remains disappointing”
