Gen Retd Bajwa rejects allegations via anchorperson Mansoor Ali Khan
Ex-COAS General Retired Qamar Javed Bajwa has seemingly conveyed a message through anchorperson Mansoor Ali Khan to reject allegations against him.
The former chief of army chief (COAS) General Retired Qamar Javed Bajwa has seemingly conveyed a message through anchorperson Mansoor Ali Khan to reject allegations levelled by Imran Khan, Pervaiz Elahi and Moonis Elahi.
A Twitter thread of a journalist concluded the key points of Mansoor Ali Khan’s YouTube video in which he claimed to elaborate on the reaction of former COAS Gen Retd Bajwa over allegations against him.
Mansoor Ali Khan said in his video that Imran Khan used to call Gen Bajwa saying ‘boss’. He claimed that Gen Bajwa told him to not call him ‘boss’ as technically he was his boss [as prime minister].
The anchorperson said that Imran Khan told him that they are partners but Gen Bajwa clarified to him that they are not partners. Mansoor Ali Khan claimed that Bajwa replied to Imran Khan by saying “As PM, you are my boss hence please don’t use the word ‘boss’.
“Gen Bajwa came to know about his extension via media while on the second extension, Asad Umar called him and asked him to get two-year extension. Pervez Khattak also telephoned him after three to four days. Gen Bajwa asked Khattak to go to the ISI office to call him via a secure line.”
Mansoor Ali Khan claimed Gen Bajwa told him that Khattak called him from ISI office while DG ISI Nadeem Anjum was also present there. “There was an impression that they wanted to give him lifetime extension. They talked about two-year extension there too.”
Mansoor further said that Bajwa apprised Imran Khan in May 2021 that Pakistan Army will have to conduct corps command if the then premier is willing to appoint him the army chief. “Imran Khan replied me to organise it next month. When asked again, Khan postponed to next month again.”
“On the third time, Gen Faiz asked Gen Bajwa himself to talk to Imran Khan about conducting the corps command. When Gen Bajwa returned, he received a call from Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) that his decision was right.”
“When Nadeem Anjum was appointed DG ISI, voices were raised from inside the PTI that it was a wrong decision. The situation was going worse, hence, I telephoned Azam Khan to tell Imran Khan that it is his last day as the army chief. Later, Faiz and other commanders stopped me to not take such a decision.”
Mansoor quoted Gen Bajwa as saying, “A meeting was arranged with Imran Khan at Bani Gala in which Imran Khan suggested giving ISI the status of a corp. I told Imran Khan to not operate the Pakistan Army as Punjab police as the institution maintains a discipline.”
“It was a habit of Imran Khan to ask the institution for completing any of his tasks and his poor performance was affecting the reputation of the institution.”

“20 out of 26 corps commanders demanded a pullout from Imran Khan. Only 6 corps commanders were supporting Imran Khan. After spending some time, these six commanders have also asked to step back from backing Khan. In March 2021, I told Khan that he will no more get support from the institution.”
“I am ready to swear on Khana-e-Kaaba that my last conversation with Nawaz Sharif was held four years ago after the demise of his wife Kulsoom Nawaz. A wrong opinion was established against Imran Khan and a team is ready with him. After some time, I came to know that the claims were wrong.”
“I don’t know Usman Buzdar before he is appointed as chief minister. PTI leaders had also demanded to remove Buzdar and don’t disclose their names before Imran Khan. Imran Khan used to convert his meeting with a prominent leader on global forums as a personal interaction.”
The Hum News journalist Mughees Ali said that Mansoor Ali Khan claimed to consider his vlog as Gen Bajwa’s statement which cannot be verified. He further wrote on Twitter that the content was collected for the vlog as Gen Bajwa seemingly wants to tell something via Mansoor Ali Khan.
