Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf flaunts code of conduct for Babar Azam

In response to the criticism of the captain after the humiliating Test series defeat by England at home, two pacers introduced the hashtag #sochnabhimanah hai apart from Babar Azam which became the top trend on Twitter.

Fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf, who were out of the team due to fitness issues, became a cause of factionalism in the team.

In response to the criticism against captain Babar Azam after the humiliating defeat at home by England in the Test series, the two fast bowlers introduced the hashtag #sochnabhimanah” which became the top trend on Twitter.

Social media users demanded strict action against the two fast bowlers from PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja for politics and factionalism in the national cricket team.

On Tuesday, after the home ground was whitewashed by any visiting team for the first time in the 70-year history of national cricket, questions began to be raised on the defensive strategy and conservative captaincy of the national cricket team captain Babar Azam and there was a demand to hand over the captaincy to Sarfraz Ahmed.

Fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf, who were out of the team due to fitness issues, came forward in defence of Babar Azam, flouting the PCB’s code of conduct.

Shaheen Shah Afridi shared the group photo of the national test squad taken on the occasion of the Karachi Test and wrote in the caption that Babar Azam is the glory, life and identity of us and Pakistan. he is our captain and will remain, it is forbidden to think anything else. He requested fans to support this team as this team will win us, the story is not over yet.

Haris Rauf tweeted a picture of himself with Babar Azam and wrote that you are our leader and will always be. Haris Rauf also used the same in his tweet.

Cricket fans and journalists termed the trend in favour of Babar Azam as a pad and demanded strict action against the two players.

Journalist Anees Hanif wrote in his tweet, “Disciplinary action should be taken against all these cricketers who are playing politics while trying to defend #BabarAzam by publicly posting on this #sochnabhimanah trend.”
