On Screen Masks: Electronic Media Should Take Lead

Fareshteh Aslam suggests wearing masks on screen will promote awareness in public

Fareshteh Aslam, CEO of Talking Point PR agency, recently tweeted raising a question on why everyone on screen isn’t wearing a mask.

The pandemic Covid-19 has altered lifestyles at large. As suggested by health experts, wearing a mask not only protects the user but also prevents transmission of the contagion.

Fareshteh Aslam pointed out the impact of television personalities and noted how the public follows what is portrayed by them.

It is noted that though all celebrities including news anchors, actors, and actresses who appear on screen promote the importance of wearing masks, do not practice it themselves.
