Riot case outside ECP: Imran Khan’s bail cancelled
Special Anti-Terrorism Court rejected interim bail application of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf

Special Anti-Terrorism Court has dismissed the bail application of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan in his absence.
The Special Anti-Terrorism Court has heard the FIR case filed against former Prime Minister Imran Khan inside the Sanjani police station regarding the protest and disturbance outside the Election Commission.
And now the Anti-Terrorism Court has dismissed the bail of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan in his absence.
His lawyer Babar Awan appeared on behalf of Imran Khan in the Special Anti-Terrorism Court, and the position was taken on his behalf that “We request the court to remove the terrorism provisions in the case.” Granted, after that we will see if the application is withdrawn then we will withdraw the application.

The court adjourned the hearing till half past two. Babar Awan said that we will inform the court after consultation, Babar Awan’s position was that Imran Khan’s case is being heard in the Additional Sessions Court, in which the court has granted interim bail till February 27. Therefore, we also request you to extend the interim bail till February 27.
Imran Khan’s lawyer Babar Awan further said that we had tried to make him travel, but he could not travel. He said that Imran Khan has never run away from the country nor has he run away from the courts.
Babar Awan had also said in the court that the entire cabinet is thinking how to arrest Imran Khan.
On this, the court said that if relief is given to one accused on bullet injury, then others will have to be given relief. On this, Babar Awan said that if the interim guarantee is extended, there will be no impact on the national exchequer.
Babar Awan said, I request the court not to dismiss the bail application. After which the court had reserved the decision and now the court has rejected Imran Khan’s interim bail application while pronouncing the decision.
