The Lahore High Court heard a case against the implementation of Section 144 by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Hamad Azhar.

Lahore High Court judge Justice Tariq Saleem Shaikh while delivering a major verdict issued orders to stop Tehreek-e-Insaaf from holding a rally at Minar Pakistan on Sunday.

The court said that if a meeting was to be held, it should have been planned 15 days in advance.

Hamad Azhar, through Advocate Azhar Siddique, had taken a stand in the petition filed against the implementation of Section 144 that the implementation of Section 144 after the release of the election schedule is illegal and unconstitutional, therefore, the caretaker government’s notification was declared unconstitutional and illegal. go

During the hearing, the government lawyer argued that Tehreek-e-Insaaf has announced to hold a meeting on Minar Pakistan on Sunday, while prior permission was not taken from the administration. While security concerns are in place.

After hearing the arguments of the lawyers, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh issued orders to stop Tehreek-e-Insaf from holding a meeting at Minar Pakistan.

On the other hand, the hearing of the case regarding Imran Khan’s non-bailable arrest warrant was also heard in the court of Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh.

Justice Tariq Saleem remarked that no court has stopped the execution of the arrest warrant. He said I did not touch the issue of warrant.

During the hearing, the court was told that the Islamabad High Court has rejected the request to cancel Imran Khan’s non-bailable arrest warrant.

On this occasion, Advocate General Punjab Shan Masood said that the decision of the Islamabad High Court has come, on which Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh said that we have not stopped anyone from arresting Imran Khan.

The court said for God’s sake let the system work, and later the court adjourned the hearing of the case till 10 am tomorrow.
