On order of district administration of Lahore, Punjab Police has blocked all roads leading to Minar e Pakistan by putting containers
In order to obstruct the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Minar Pakistan rally, the district administration of Lahore has blocked the internal and external routes of the city by placing containers.
According to the details, the district administration has sealed the internal and external routes by placing containers on Ravi Bridge from Shahdara to prevent the leaders and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from participating in the Minar Pakistan Jalsa.
According to media reports, Shah Alam Chowk, Basanwala Chowk have been sealed from both sides, while all the routes from the railway station to Minar Pakistan have been closed.
It should be noted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, under the leadership of Chairman Imran Khan, is going to hold a political power show on Minar Pakistan. Permission was given for the rally by the district government, but despite that, the police were tasked by the district government late at night. was given, after which the police started rounding up the containers.

The police started sealing the main highways leading to Minar Pakistan on the orders of the district authorities. Police have also closed Data Darbar and Urdu Bazar by placing containers.
It should be noted that three days ago Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider had given conditional permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to hold a meeting at Minar Pakistan, for which a formal permit notification was issued.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider gave the permission after taking oath from the PTI on behalf of the district administration. According to the affidavit, the Jalsa management will be responsible for the security of the stage, women and all enclosures.
According to the affidavit, Jalsa administration will ensure uninterrupted power supply in all concerned areas. Speeches against judiciary and institutions will not be allowed.
