Justice Athar Minullah has said in his dissenting note that I fully agree with the decision of Justice Yahya Khan Afridi to reject the petitions, while having read the judgment of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel, therefore, from their order I also agree.

The dissenting note said that the court should exercise caution in taking suo motu notice in cases related to political parties, while it is also important that the good faith of the political party approaching the court should also be taken into account.

In the note of Justice Athar Minallah, it is said that during the no-confidence motion, the matter came to the Supreme Court for the first time.

In the notice, Justice Athar Minullah said that Imran Khan had to lose the prime ministership due to the no-confidence vote, the political crisis became acute when the resignations were given after losing the confidence of the House. Giving his reaction to Athar Minallah’s dissenting note, Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that Justice Athar Minullah has also accepted the principle of elections within ninety days in his dissenting note.

Fawad Chaudhry said in a message from his official Twitter handle that Justice Athar Minallah has referred to the decision of the Lahore High Court in this regard, our main problem is the election, not the judge or the bench.
