Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial’s bench suddenly delisted, notification issued

According to the notification issued by Registrar Supreme Court, all 12 cases of court room number 1 have also been delisted

Bench of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandial was suddenly delisted, all cases heard before bench were also delisted, Registrar Supreme Court also issued a notification to delist cases.

Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel and Justice Athar Minallah were also included in bench of Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial. 12 cases were fixed for hearing before bench today. Notices have been issued to all Cylians.

According to the notification issued by the Registrar Supreme Court, list of bench number two of Supreme Court has also been delisted. cause list of bench comprising Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Shahid Waheed has also been delisted.

In notification issued by Registrar Supreme Court, it is stated that Chief Justice of Pakistan is not available today due to illness, therefore cause list of these courtroom numbers has been delisted.

Spokesperson of Supreme Court has also clarified that it is not unusual, only list of cases has been canceled due to illness of Chief Justice.

The re-date of the canceled cases in Court Room Number One of Supreme Court is yet to be decided, date will be decided upon availability of Chief Justice.

According to notification issued by Registrar Supreme Court, cause list of Supreme Court Bench No. 2 has also been cancelled. The cause list of the bench comprising Justice Tariq Masood and Justice Shahid Waheed has been cancelled. All cases will be heard by a new bench.

According to the Registrar Supreme Court, a new bench consisting of Justice Ejaz Ul Ahsan and Justice Aminuddin Khan was constituted.
