Shameful behavior at Faisal Mosque; A foreigner sexually harassed on Eid, Police remained silent
On second day of Eid, a foreign female tourist was sexually harassed by a riotous crowd in Shah Faisal Mosque of Islamabad, while police have not yet taken any action. According to residents of Islamabad, there was no police security on Eid
On second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, a foreign woman was surrounded by a huge crowd and subjected to sexual harassment in Shah Faisal Mosque of federal capital, Islamabad, while police did not take any action.
According to initial reports, incident of sexual harassment of a foreign tourist woman took place in famous Shah Faisal Mosque of country. The police took notice of the incident but have not started any investigation.
After Shakar Padian incident in Islamabad, a foreign female tourist was sexually harassed by a riotous mob on second day of Eid in Shah Faisal Masjid, while police were not even present on occasion.
It can be seen in a viral video on social media that a foreign tourist woman was harassed in a humiliating manner in the mosque of the federal capital, due to which she was forced to leave the place as soon as possible.

While sharing videos of the sad incident from a Twitter handle named Islamabadiz, it was said that on the occasion of Eid, police and traffic police were not present at Shah Faisal Mosque, Main Highway and many other places.
In a viral video on social media, it can be seen that a rowdy crowd of men and children were running behind the foreign female tourist, but one person helped the woman to leave.
As soon as the video of the incident went viral on social media, users termed it as extremely ignorant behavior and demanded the police and other authorities to take notice and arrest the harassers.
A female user wrote that the most beautiful capital of Pakistan, imagine what the rest of the country will be like, while a Twitter user named Abdullah said, “How low, ignorant and humiliated we are.”
It should be remembered that before the Shah Faisal Masjid incident, another similar incident took place in Shakar Padian on Pakistan’s Independence Day, where many foreign women were harassed.
It should be noted that under Section 509 of the Pakistan Penal Code, if a person insults a woman, either by gestures or words, he can be punished with three years imprisonment, or fine or both.
