Accused of inciting rebellion in institutions; Imran Khan gets bail till May 3 from IHC
Former Prime Minister's protective bail obtained from Lahore High Court expired on April 26, upon which he approached Islamabad High Court
Islamabad High Court granted interim bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan till May 3 in case of inciting institutions to revolt and intimidating military officers and their families.
Islamabad High Court granted bail to former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan till May 3 in a case related to making statements against national security agencies and their senior officers and their families.
A case was registered against former Prime Minister Imran Khan by Islamabad Local Court Magistrate Manzoor Ahmed in Ramna police station, in which he was accused of threatening senior military officers and his family members.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan reached Islamabad in a convoy from Lahore to hear the case. On this occasion, strict security arrangements were made around court while surveillance was also being done with help of Durans.
Imran Khan’s protective bail obtained from Lahore High Court had expired on April 26, on which he approached Islamabad High Court, court has granted interim bail till May 3 on a bond of one lakh rupees.
During hearing, lawyers Salman Safdar, Faisal Farid Chaudhry, Ali Bukhari, Advocate General Jahangir Jadoon, and government lawyer Zohaib Gondal also appeared in court on behalf of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
In FIR registered in Ramna police station, Imran Khan has been accused of inciting active extremists to create a constant threat to lives of senior military officers and their families and make baseless accusations against the army.
Plaintiff Magistrate Manzoor Ahmed has alleged that no one is safe from language and evil of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan. He wants to weaken state by defaming everyone under an external conspiracy and agenda.
