Imran Khan’s legal adviser Babar Awan’s sudden visit to London raises eyebrows
Sources say Babar Awan took with him some video evidence in which women have been subjected to harassment and sexual abuse in police custody
Babar Awan, leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Chairman PTI Imran khan’s Legal Adviser left for London suddenly, but sources say that there is serious uneasiness in government ranks due to his departure, due to which Interior Minister Mr. Had to hold a press conference.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s close friend and legal adviser Babar Awan left Pakistan unannounced on Friday.
Babar Awan boarded a London-bound flight from Islamabad International Airport at 1 pm on Friday. Tehreek-e-Insaf leader had departed on Virgin Atlantic flight VS 379.

Sharing message on social networking site Twitter, Babar Awan wrote that he is with the party and is going out of country for “pre-arranged private engagements”.
In his Twitter message, he wrote that “I have come out of the country for pre-arranged personal engagements.” All my medicines are Pakistani and treated by proud Pakistani doctors. Imran was a friend before, now he is my leader, Tehreek-e-Insaaf is my larger family and Pakistan is my destination.”

Awan is known for his vocal criticism of the PDM government. He joined PTI in 2017 after being associated with Pakistan People’s Party for many years.
Analysts say that there is severe anxiety in the government ranks over Babar Awan’s departure to London. Sources of analysts say that Babar Awan took with him some video evidence, in which women are subjected to harassment and sexual abuse during detention, and to reduce the same pressure on Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah. At 12:30 pm, a press conference had to be held regarding the alleged audio.
