Speaking to the media outside Avonfield in London, he appealed for prayers regarding the approval of the IMF board program. Emphasizing the importance of the situation, he said that it is important for this program to be approved without any delay.
Referring to a meeting with the Managing Director (MD) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in France, he said he traveled to France on the invitation of the French President. During the meeting, he had a friendly interaction with the IMF MD, creating a cordial atmosphere.
During the meeting, he said that the Managing Director of the IMF expressed his desire to discuss certain issues.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that he told the IMF MD that Pakistan has fulfilled all the conditions and now the program should be approved.
