Rupee strengthens in open market, loses in in interbank trade

Dollar continued its flight in the interbank foreign exchange market as the rupee decline by Rs1.26 during midday trading.

The greenback was trading at Rs306.90 in intraday trading against the closing of Rs305.64 the previous session.

In the open market, the rupee strengthened as it gained Rs3 against the foreign currency, which was available at Rs324, dealers said
