Bollywood stars rush to Ram Mandir before its inauguration
Ram Mandir—a temple that has been constructed at the place where five centuries old Babri Mosque once stood— will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.
Over 8,000 high profile guests have been invited to the temple’s inauguration and the event will be closed to the general public.
Alongside, political figures and businessmen, Bollywood’s celebrities have been turning towards the temple, as the ceremony is to be the huge honour for all who belong to Hinduism.
Prior to the ceremony, silver screen celebrities were seen at the Kalina airport in India, rushing to the temple before its inauguration.

Amitabh Bachchan was photographed at his arrival along with his family including son Abhishek Bachchan.
Cameras also captured Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Rohit Shetty arriving for the event. The Animal actor appeared at the airport, in a white shirt and dhoti, with his wife Alia, wearing a sea green saree.
Director Rohit Shetty did not miss the chance and marked his presence at the temple before its inauguration.
Tiger’s charm Katrina Kaif was spotted in a golden saree at the airport with her husband Vicky Kaushal, wearing an off-white kurta pajama.
Legendary actor Jackie Shroff marked his entry with a money plant giving a message of bringing positivity and prosperity to a ceremony of temple.
Madhuri Dixit is also invited to the ‘Pran Pratistha’ event at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The actress was accompanied by her husband Dr. Sriram Nene.
Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and actor and director Ayushman Khorana also posed for photographers at the airport before flying to Ayodhya for the inauguration of the Ram temple.
A statue of Ram Lalla by renowned Karnataka sculptor Arun Yogi Raj was installed inside on January 18 as part of the rituals. The 51-inch black idol depicts Lord Rama as a five-year-old child.
