China-EU Agreement For Spanish Priorat Wine
Wines from the DOQ Priorat are among the Spanish brands in the China-EU agreement on geographical indications (GI) to protect quality agri-food products that came into force on Jan 1, 2021.
The wines from the scenic Priorat region in northeastern Spain are recognized for their quality under the classification, denomination of qualified origin (DOQ).
More and more Chinese companies are now interested in private wine factories and more breweries are trying to make deals with them.
