Pakistan Restarts After Massive Power Breakdown
Speculations ran rife as the people remained unambiguous about the causes as a result of the loss of communication due to power outage

In a massive power breakdown, most of the major parts of Pakistan plunged into the dark as the power from its network faced hours-long suspension due to the breakdown which has now been restored.
The power outage was reported in most major cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta during the wee hours of Sunday.
It was gradually restored early morning Sunday.
Energy Minister Omar Ayub Khan said on Twitter that power breakdown in different cities of Pakistan occurred due to a technical fault at Guddu Thermal Power Plant in Sindh.

The fault in return plunged the country into a massive blackout and speculations ran rife as the people remained unambiguous about the causes as a result of the loss of communication due to power outage.
The minister added that the cause was being investigated.
The power breakdown was sequent of the recurring problems that Pakistan has faced with its power supply system.
Meanwhile, the biggest blackout across Pakistan has given opposition parties a chance to criticize the government once again.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the incompetent government was unaware of causes and Pakistan was plunged into darkness today, both practically and symbolically.
