Sweden Issues Stamp For Greta Thunberg
Sweden has issued a stamp honouring Greta Thunberg, on the other hand, Malala Yousafzai has not received any such honor from Pakistan

In Sweden, young environmental activist Greta Thunberg appears on a postage stamp issued on Thursday showing Greta Thunberg standing on a hill in a yellow raincoat while Pakistan’s Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai has not received any such honor from her own country of origin.
“We hope that with the help of stamps we can shed light on this very important issue of climate,” said Kristina Olofsdotter, head of the stamp division at the Swedish postal company PostNord.
SHe said that millions of such stamps would be issued.
Greta Thunberg rose to prominence with a weekly protest outside the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm, which she launched on August 20, 2018.
Within months, more than 2 million students from 135 countries joined Greta Thunberg in the ‘Schools Strike for Climate’ campaign.
In 2019, Greta Thunberg stayed away from school for a year to demand action on climate change. She also addressed the UN Climate Change Conference.

Maldives, Mozambique, and Djibouti are among those countries which have issued stamps honoring Malala.

Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate. She is known for human rights advocacy and has worked towards the education of women and children in her native Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northwest Pakistan, where the local Pakistani Taliban had at times banned girls from attending school.
