Babar & De-Kock to Redo History at National Stadium Karachi

History will repeat at National Stadium in Karachi on January 26 for Pakistan’s Babar Azam and South African Quinton De-Kock as they will watch the toss coin go up in the air together as captains after nearly a decade.

After making it to national U-19 sides, both players had prognosticated incoming of two impacting batsmen who would eventually lead their national sides.

Now, Babar Azam and Quinton De-Kock will be leading their teams in the test series between Pakistan and South Africa starting January 26 at National Stadium in Karachi as they will replicate history.

Both have climbed ladders of success with their astonishing talents with bats and hold some impressive records.

Babar Azam

Babar Azam is the fastest Asian batsman to score 3000 runs in ODI cricket and took just 68 innings.

He is the fastest batsman to score 7 ODI centuries.

Pakistan’s captain is also the fastest batsman to reach 1000 runs in T20Is.

The left-handed wicket-keeper batsman was fifth South African to score five consecutive fifty-plus scores in tests.

Babar Azam ranks 6th in Test in ICC Test Rankings while De Kock is on 15th.

Pakistan’s captain is 2nd in ICC T20 Rankings while South African captain currently secures 12th position in the table.
