Courageous woman from AJK running a dhaba in Islamabad
Amira Liaquat shares her experiencesrunning a dhaba in Islamabad's F-10.
ISLAMABAD: A young woman from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) named Amira Liaquat has set an example of courage and determination for women by running a dhaba in Islamabad.
The educated young lady is belonging to a far-flung village of AJK, who got employed in different firms first, and later she decided to set her own business not just to help herself but to financially settle others in need too.
Amira Liaquat, who possesses M.Sc. degree, has a family of five sisters, mother and a brother.
After making her mind to establish her own business, Amira Liaquat chose to open a dhaba in the F-10 centre in Islamabad.
At first, she had faced difficulties to search for an appropriate location for dhaba, acquiring a licence from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the most challenging thing she suffered was the criticism of the relatives.
However, she bravely sails through the difficulties to prove herself as a successful businesswoman.
While being interviewed by News360, she encouraged women to step forward and settle their own businesses besides offering them her assistance and guidance for fulfilling their dreams.
