Economic Coordination Committee approved allocation of funds for several projects. ECC confirms decision to supply sugar at Rs 95 per kg in Punjab
According to details, an important meeting of Economic Coordination Committee was held under chairmanship of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, in which the allocation of funds for various projects was approved.
In Economic Coordination Committee meeting, government guarantee of PIA was increased by more than 15 billion rupees.
ECC has confirmed decision to supply sugar in Punjab at Rs 95 per kg while provincial PSMA of Punjab will supply 20 thousand metric tonnes of sugar.
In this regard, ECC has also directed other provinces to ensure availability of sugar at low cost.
Officials of ECC meeting presided over by Finance Minister have approved making Anguar Adda an export land for Afghanistan and Central Asia, while a technical supplementary grant of 261 million rupees has been approved for Ministry of Housing.
ECC meeting chaired by Ishaq Dar has approved a grant of Rs 142.5 million for the Ministry of National Health, while ECC has approved electric bikes and e-rickshaw schemes.
ECC has approved loans for e-bikes and rickshaws under Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agricultural Loan Scheme.
According to Economic Coordination Committee, a loan of up to 5 lac rupees will be given for tier one category, loan will be given for three years at zero interest rate.
