Foreign brands should target Pakistan’s middle class, Swedish investor Mattis Martinson suggests

Pakistan's middle class should not be ignored, it wants same products as we do in high-income countries, chief investor comments on success of Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons

Mattis Martinsen, founder of foreign investment company Tundra Funder, suggested the foreign investors to invest more in Pakistan, citing the historic success of Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons, which started business in Pakistan.

Mattis Martins is considered as one of the major investors in Pakistan stock market.

Mattis Martinson, sharing a video of a crowd of shoppers at the first Canadian coffee chain to open a business in Pakistan, wrote in his comments that we mostly read about failures, poverty, political and economic crisis in Pakistan.

He further said that the middle class of Pakistan should not be neglected who want the same products as we (in high income countries) want. He suggested that more foreign brands target the Pakistani middle class. The opportunity to create should be taken advantage of.
