Pakistan & Afghanistan to Trade in Rupee Instead of Dollar
The measure is being taken, as said by finance minister, as the global institutions have frozen Afghanistan’s accounts
Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin has said that Pakistan and Afghanistan will trade in rupee instead of dollars.
The minister told the Senate Standing Committee on Finance that trade with Afghanistan will be carried out in rupee now.
The measure is being taken, as said by Tarin, as the global institutions have frozen Afghanistan’s accounts.
He said Pakistan is reviewing the evolving situation in Afghanistan regularly.
