Pakistanis Bought 114% More Cars in July This Year
As many as 24,918 units were sold by different car manufacturers in July 2021 as compared to 11,659 vehicles sold in July 2020
Pakistanis bought 114% more cars in July compared to the same month of the previous year.
Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) shared its report according to which the car sales in the country in July remained 114% higher than the same month in 2020.
As many as 24,918 units were sold by different car manufacturers in July 2021 as compared to 11,659 vehicles sold in July 2020.

The increase remained 81% monthly as some 13,739 units were sold in June.
The robust sales in the sector came on the back of a cut in mark-up rate for auto financing along with a slash in car prices after relaxations in the budget 2020-21.

Pak Suzuki Company sold the highest number of vehicles, 15,181, last month as compared to 4,991 units in July last year. This registered a 204% increase in sales.
The second on the list is Indus Motor Company which dispatched 6,715 units last month compared to 4,043 units in July last year. The manufacturer recorded a 66% rise.
The car sales for Honda Atlas remained comparatively low in July this year. The company sold 2,307 units last month compared to 2,467 vehicles in the same month last year.
The freshie Hyundai Nishat dispatched 627 units in July 2021.
