Coalition government failed miserably to increase exports in first nine months of current fiscal year.
Federal Bureau of Statistics has released export data for 9 months of current financial year. In March 2023, a decrease of 14.76% was recorded in exports compared to last month of PTI government.
According to Institute of Statistics, exports from July to March decreased by 9.87% to 21.460 billion dollars, last year in same period, exports were 23 billion 35 million dollars.
Pakistan’s economic growth is expected to slow significantly in FY2023
According to Institute of Statistics, in March, exports on an annual basis recorded a decrease of 14.76% to 2.367 billion dollars. Last year, exports in March were 2.777 billion dollars.
According to Institute of Statistics, exports increased by 8.03 percent in March compared to February, trade deficit from July to March decreased by 35.51 percent to 22.9 billion dollars. A 75% decrease was one billion 46 crore 10 lakh dollars.
